For many years there has been a reunion held for Buckeye Lake area friends in Fort Myers, Florida. A snowbird luncheon will again be held in 2012 at the Heron’s Glen Country Club on Saturday, February 18th. Heron’s Glen is located midway between Fort Myers and Punta Gorda, making it a convenient location from Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota, Venice, Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Naples, etc.
Anyone who has fondness towards Buckeye Lake or Central Ohio is invited to attend!

Take I-75 south to Exit
158 (Tuckers Grade) Turn right from ramp and
go 1.4 miles to Route 41 Turn left on Route 41
(traffic light)
go south 7.2 miles Herons Glen Country Club
is on left Check in at guardhouse and
proceed to Clubhouse Be
sure to have your driver's license ready for guard Take I-75 north to Exit
143 (Bayshore Blvd.) Turn left from ramp and go
6.9 miles to Cleveland Ave. (Route 41) Turn right on Cleveland
Ave. and
go north 6.2 miles Herons Glen is on right Check in at guardhouse and
proceed to Clubhouse Be
sure to have your driver's license ready for guard (Herons
Glen is 4 1/2 miles north of Shell Factory) Take Cleveland Ave. north
across Caloosahatchee River

approximately 9 miles to Herons Glen Country Club Herons Glen is on right Check in at guardhouse and

Important Notice!
Reservations are now being accepted. The lunch will be held in the private dining room at Herons Glen Country Club, not in the Ballroom as in previous years. The private dining room accommodates 60 people, so any reservations above 60 can only be accommodated if seating is available in the adjoining general dining area or lounge.
Herons Glen
is a cashless facility, so you will be required to pay your bill with a credit
card. There is no guarantee of seating after the first 60, but we will try to
accommodate everyone. Those seated in the adjoining dining area are welcome to
socialize in the private dining area before and after the meal.

The
committee decided that there will be no entertainment this year.
